Ladies, your men are trying. But the concept that there are two different types of butter doesn’t even make sense to them. You might as well be trying to teach them quantum physics. And let’s be real, this isn’t just about butter. How many men have had the chance to try and pick out the right type of tampon or maxi pad. There are like 500 different types!

This marriage meme is all too familiar for all the guys out there. When you are at work or out with your friends and you suddenly realize that you forgot to put out the trash, feed the dog, etc. Then comes the text from the wife. She assures you she still loves you, but then come the next 500 words telling you exactly how terrible you are at this husband thing. Your men love you ladies. They just have memories like gold fish.

Growing up I thought I was going to end up like Belle. Turns out, I’m this lady.

I bet it was just the hardest time ever. Could you imagine if you had to do this more often than once in a blue moon?

You can’t say anything, so you have to let your eyes do the talking.

Look, until it falls over, it’s not my problem. If you’re the one that makes it fall,  you’re the one that has to take it out. Those are the rules of marriage.

We’re not saying married couples still don’t get frisky. I mean, the number of minivans and children running around are testament to that. But, there’s something that’s lost after you get married that gets replaced with the comfort of always having someone there to check out that thing on your butt.

Okay, maybe we husbands tell little white lies every once in a while. But come on, a Honey Do list? That’s insanity.
